The current Cork Airport terminal building opened in August 2006 replacing one that had been in use for over 40 years.
The terminal building is 28,300 sq. metres in area and is designed to cater for up to five million passengers a year. There are 30 check-in desks and three incoming and two outgoing baggage belts.
The Multi-Storey Car Park adjacent to the terminal has 630 spaces and is directly connected to the terminal building via a covered walkway.
