AER LINGUS EXTENDS SUMMER SEASON DESTINATIONS

Wednesday, July 11th, 2007.  Aer Lingus has announced its intention to extend summer services from Cork to Faro and Nice to facilitate October Bank Holiday passengers.

The summer travel season officially ends on October 27th, as airlines switch to their winter timetables.  However, Aer Lingus will operate flights from  Faro to Cork on October 30th and November 3rd, with flights to and from Nice operating on November 1st and 4th. The Aer Lingus announcement follows last week's news from Air Southwest that it plans to extend its Cork to Newquay in Cornwall service to October 26th, with flights on Monday, Friday and Sunday during the month of October.
