WIZZ AIR LAUNCHES NEW SERVICE FROM CORK TO WARSAW
Thursday, May 22nd, 2008.  Wizz Air, Central and Eastern Europe’s largest low fare - low cost airline, has just announced plans to introduce a new service from Cork to Warsaw in Poland.
 
The first flight to Warsaw is due to take off on June 26th and will operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays.  The scheduled departure time for the Thursday flight is 8.15am with departure time on Sundays scheduled an hour later at 9.15am.
 
The addition of Warsaw to Wizz Air’s Cork schedule will increase to three the number of routes direct from Cork as the airline already provides a service to Katowice which operates four times weekly and Gdansk which operates three times weekly.

Wizz Air operates a young fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft from 8 bases on over 100 routes.  The airline offers flights from Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Croatia and Romania to a large number of European destinations.  Wizz Air carried 4.2 million passengers in 2007.
