Aer Lingus Regional Celebrates Tenth Anniversary Of Cork-Bristol Route

Aer Lingus Regional, operated by Aer Arann will this weekend celebrate the ten-year anniversary of its Cork-Bristol service. Almost 300,000 passengers have travelled on the route since it was launched on 1st July 2002 and it has become a crucial commercial link for business and leisure passengers, providing important access and supporting tourism in both cities.

To mark the celebrations, one lucky passenger travelling on the Cork-Bristol route this weekend will receive two complimentary return flights and a bottle of champagne.

Aer Lingus Regional has a strong presence at Cork Airport. In addition to its Bristol route the airline operates services directly to Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Rennes and Jersey. Almost 60 flights operate each week during the summer season connecting the people of Cork to the UK, Channel Islands and France.

Aer Arann’s Interim Chief Executive Sean Brogan said “We are delighted to celebrate the tenth anniversary of this very important business and leisure route. We believe the connections from Cork to Bristol, provide excellent support for both the tourism industry and economic life generally in both regions and we expect the route to continue to be a success in the future”.

Aer Lingus Regional operates one flight daily between Cork and Bristol. The service commenced operating under the Aer Arann brand on 1st July 2002 and was rebranded to Aer Lingus Regional in March 2010. Flights are available for booking on www.aerlingus.com.
