About Lyon:

Val Thorens is located within a three-hour drive from Lyon and is a family-friendly ski resort with a variety of slopes for all levels of skiers.  It offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Chamonis is another resort also within a three-hour drive of Lyon.  It offers a range of slopes for different abilities, including beginner-friendly areas and challenging runs for the more advanced skiers. 

After a day of skiing, there are plenty of activities you can enjoy and to make the most of your time.  Many of the ski resorts within the vicinity of Lyon offer wellness centres and spas where you can unwind and rejuvenate. Take a stroll through one of the resort villages and discover charming shops, boutiques and local craft shops or head to one of the resort bars to enjoy some aprѐs-ski drinks while sharing stories of your skiing adventures.
